The 2021 conference marks the 50th anniversary of the rich and long history of the Australian Teacher Education Association (ATEA). The theme for the conference is Strong Foundations, Future Innovations allowing reflection on the complex, contested and vital work of teacher education in order to chart a course and prepare for the unknown and unforeseen future. The 2021 ATEA Conference will be held at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane from 7-9 July and will explore research based on the breadth of teachers and teacher educators across all sectors from early childhood through to higher education. Presentations will feature the most current research in teacher education. In celebration of the 50th anniversary there will also be the opportunity to recognise the influence or importance of our foundations by revisiting past historical ATEA pieces to inform future innovations.
Conference dates: 06 July - 09 July 2021
