ATEA 2020 BOOK - TEACHER EDUCATION IN GLOBALISED TIMES - LAUNCHED

The ATEA 2020 Book, Teacher Education in Globalised Times – Local Responses in Action, was launched on 25th August, at a special ATEA members only online event.

Comprising 20 chapters, and a whopping 49 contributors, this years book features topics including ‘Rural Teacher Recruitment Policy and Retention’, ‘Discourses of Quality in Australian Teacher Education’, ‘Reflecting on Japanese Teacher Education’, and ‘The Interplay Between Technology and Teaching’, to name a few.

The launch included a presentation and Q&A of Chapter 1, 'Third Wave' Politics in Teacher Education: Moving Beyond Binaries, facilitated by Debbie Heck (ATEA President) and  was joined by 2020 book editors:
