Over the last few weeks, there has been a flurry of media activity related to teacher shortages and the generally poor working conditions that teachers are surviving in at present. Additionally, there has been an inquiry into teacher shortages in NSW as well as a Teacher Workforce Roundtable discussion with the new Education Minister, Jason Clare.

This ATEA Virtual Seminar Series event will discuss the so-called teacher shortage crisis – why people are not entering the profession or staying, and solutions that are being put forward to get education back to ‘normal’.

Join our panel of Professors: Jo Lampert (La Trobe University), Martin Mills QUT), Clare Brooks (UCL) and Associate Professor Ange Fitzgerald (RMIT) for what will be an engaging and robust conversation.
